Scandalous scenes marked the minutes before the start of the first round match in Group C of the European Championship between Serbia and England. One of the Albanian journalists came to the stands where Serbian fans were located with a camera and tried to provoke them with shameful gestures.

The journalist in question is Arilnd Sadiku from the false state of Kosovo, who showed Serbian fans the „double-headed eagle“ – a symbol of „Greater Albania“. Of course, this caused strong reactions among the supporters of the Serbian national team.

Since the match between Serbia and England was starting in a few minutes, the Federation did not immediately respond, but very soon after the match, an official statement arrived. Namely, the spokesperson of our national team – Milan Vuković, requested UEFA to immediately revoke the accreditation of the „journalist“ – Arilnd Sadiku.

„In the name of the FSS, I have sent a protest to UEFA (media department) with a request for immediate action, for the said ‘journalist’ to be punished, for the media to be punished, and for their accreditation to be revoked immediately,“ stated in the statement of the FSS spokesperson – Milan Vuković.

In a further statement, the Federation notes that they will send the video and image as a request for UEFA to have a complete picture of the shameful event at the „Schalke Arena“. A response from UEFA is expected tomorrow.

It is worth mentioning that today’s match had another ugly prelude as Serbian fans were attacked in the center of Gelsenkirchen by Albanian and English hooligans.

A spokesperson for the Serbian Football Federation has lodged an official complaint with UEFA over the actions of a journalist from Kosovo during the Serbia-England match at the European Championship. Arland Sadiku, the journalist in question, displayed provocative gestures and symbols, inciting anger among Serbian fans.

The incident occurred just before the start of the Group C match between Serbia and England at the European Championship. Sadiku, who hails from Kosovo, was seen making offensive gestures towards Serbian supporters, including displaying the double-headed eagle symbol associated with „Greater Albania.“

The Serbian Football Federation issued a formal protest to UEFA, demanding the immediate revocation of Sadiku’s press accreditation. In a statement, spokesperson Milan Vuković condemned the journalist’s actions and called for swift disciplinary measures.

„We have filed a complaint with UEFA’s media department, urging them to take action against the journalist in question, as well as the media outlet he represents. His accreditation must be revoked without delay,“ Vuković’s statement read.

The Federation also announced plans to submit video evidence and images of the incident to UEFA for further investigation. A response from UEFA is expected in the coming days.

The Serbia-England match was marred by additional incidents, as Serbian fans were reportedly attacked by Albanian and English hooligans in Gelsenkirchen. The volatile atmosphere surrounding the match has raised concerns about fan safety and security at the tournament.
