Luxury car manufacturer Genesis has prepared a sleek SUV model GV70 that will make its debut in South Korea in May before being launched on the global market.
The design remains very similar to the outgoing GV70, with certain modifications. Standout features include a refined front grille, dual-line headlights that utilize the brand’s latest MLA technology, a revised lower front bumper, new 19-inch Hyper Silver wheels, a revised rear spoiler, and exhaust tips of a new shape.
In terms of the interior, the GV70 ditches the separate digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen of the outgoing model in favor of a single 27-inch display. The elliptical-shaped climate control screen has also been removed in favor of a simpler rectangular display. There is also a new steering wheel (similar to that of the new GV80 for the 2025 model year) and a revised ambient lighting system.
The GV70 Sport version comes standard with a unique G-Matrix grille, larger air intakes, dark metallic 21-inch wheels, dark chrome rear diffuser, sports steering wheel, and orange contrast stitching.
Genesis has not yet released specifications for the powertrains of the refined GV70, but the same engine options are expected to be offered as before. This means a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel, a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine, and a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo.
Finally, the GV70 Electrified is also likely to be planned for modifications, according to „AutoBlog“.
