Boston Celtics basketball player Jaylen Brown has been fined for his scandalous behavior during an NBA game. The Celtics defeated the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night, but the match was overshadowed by Brown’s outburst, where he gestured to cut his throat. He turned towards Pistons center Isaiah Stewart and ran his thumb across his throat, implying that he would kill him.

Boston’s shooter likely did this in the heat of the moment, but the NBA league does not tolerate such behavior from players, so they quickly reacted and sanctioned Brown. He will have to pay a $25,000 fine for this gesture.

In addition, Brown had a great game against Detroit, leading his team with 28 points, six rebounds, and nine assists.
